This course is designed for healthcare professionals who passed an ALS provider course and whose certificate is still valid, to extend their provider certificate validity.

 

The course comprises an online module of around 2-4 hours and a hands-on face-to-face module of 4 hours which covers various ALS scenarios.

 

To be eligible to apply, candidates must have a valid (not expired) ALS certificate that is due to expire within the coming 6 months.

 

The certificate will be extended by 2 years. It is recommended that after one ALS Recertification course, candidates then do a full course (i.e. candidates alternate full ALS course with a recertification course).
